...and don't forget The Warlocks' manager "Gladstone Odduck", who by his own admission was let go because (the Dead) were afraid (Hank) would be too quick to use force, as in punch people out at the slightest provocation.

He did have an unpredictable and very short fuse.

He recently recalled throwing yours truly into Richardson Bay, and although that's not what actually happened, it was a lucky break that I wasn't scarred or even scratched.

In the book by Sandy Troy "Captain Trips", stories about Mountain Girl reveal her physical power over the band when suspicions of bad drug use (in the early days) motivated her;
and the book has one episode at 710 Ashbury, (1966) when Pigpen had Weir pinned to the floor after he discovered Bob high on "H"...

(a one-shot deal, apparently)
